BLOGMAS DAY 2: CHRISTMAS CARDS & DECORATING MY ROOM

It's already the second day of Blogmas! I can just tell this month is going to fly by! I love the run up to Christmas so much so I'm trying to do something Christmassy every day. Today I had my HD brows done and my hair dyed and cut.

It was lovely to have a fresh cut and dye! I'll upload a picture of my eyebrows over the next few days as they're still quite red and sore as I mark very easily! If anyone wants a review and overview of the HD Brows process just let me know in the comments..!

I also wrote out some Christmas cards for my friends.

I got these pug Christmas cards from ASDA for £1 with some of the proceeds going to Children in Need. I love pugs and love giving to a good cause so these were a great pack of cards.

I then decorated my bedroom like I do every year!

I've had this tree for years and it was from ARGOS, I love the pink ornaments and bows as it matches my room with is duck egg blue and pink.

I got this as a gift last night as each year me and my family look out for the Coca Cola advert.

So, I hope you enjoyed this short post about my day today. I shall see you tomorrow! Feel free to leave any comments.

Eylure Lashes 141 Review

Hello again! Today I thought I'd write a piece about a product that is very close to my heart... Eylure lashes. Due to going on a night out I thought I'd head into my local Savers in search of some new lashes as all of the ones I had look scary now due to over-wearing them. I picked up the Eylure 141's for £2.99! I was searching for lashes that had a much more natural feel to them but still had the length and volume that I desired. I love the feathery look of the lashes and would definitely recommend these lashes if you are wanting a natural yet glam look. Eylure as a brand is also amazing and I haven't found a brand just yet that match the quality of their products.

This is the packaging of the lashes in case you were wondering what they looked like. I unfortunately threw the packaging away before I got chance to snap a picture of them!

This is myself wearing the lashes.

A close up of the lashes... ignore my brows as I have an appointment booked to get them threaded again!

Do you wear fake eyelashes? What's your favourite brand?

JUNE WISH LIST

I did a wish list a few months ago and now there are a million more things that I need... well maybe want. I've linked everything via the products name!

A wish list has to include Mac.. this is MAC Mehr, I'm running out of my loved Please Me and this is a very similar shade.

This is MAC Please Me , I bought this before Christmas and have already nearly used one.

I need this Soft and Gentle highlighter from MAC.

The Urban Decay Smoky Palette, my uh-mazing boyfriend treated me to the Naked 2 palette before I went on holiday, and I use it daily so now I would love this palette.

The Too Faced 'Better than Sex' Mascara

I really want a new purse and love the size of the Michael Kors purses, I love this colour.

Okay so maybe this is a bit of wishful thinking... but I would love a MK bag.

A slightly strange want, but I would love a photo book as I have so many lovely photos that I would love altogether in one book.

This pandora ring is wow. I love it!

I love the smell of Victoria Secret body mists and sometimes prefer them over perfume! I love the fruity scent.

LONDON

Hello loveliess! Sorry for the lack of posts recently, I've been super busy with uni this term so haven't managed to write many blog posts this month. My boyfriend also came and visited me for a week so that meant no blog posts again! Anyway, my boyfriend and I decided to visit London for the day as it is only a (around) two hour train journey from Leeds and the train tickets were pretty cheap. I love travelling and want to see so many more places both in the UK and outside of it.

Due to us only going for the day we tried to fit in as many of the sightseeing attractions in as we could. We began our day by visiting the National History Museum, if you haven't been I would suggest you go because it is amazing! It's completely free too. We spent a few hours there because it is deceivingly big.

We then headed to Harrods... I didn't rate Harrods too much after having been to Selfridges on a previous visit but the architecture there was beautiful. After this, we caught the tube and visited Buckingham Palace and Trafalgar Square. When visiting Buckingham Palace someone even went into the Palace but we didn't get to see who it was...

We then headed to the Holy Grail that is Oxford Street.... I tried my first Five Guys which I must say was pretty nice even if the price is a bit hefty. We wandered round Oxford Street, visiting Lush, Selfridges and a few other shops then finally headed back to the station.

It was a lovely day and I would love to go again.

I hope you enjoyed this post, and my little snap shots. The photos are taken on my phone but also my new camera (SONY A5000) which I will be doing a post on shortly. Have you been to London? Feel free to leave any comments.

MARCH WISHLIST

Hello again everyone! My post today is going to be dedicated to all the things that I'm loving/lusting for this month. {Take note family & Alex, as my birthday is only 3 months away} Feel free to comment below and tell me what you're wishing for this month, or if you have the product I'm lusting for whether it is worth the hype.

Estee Lauder Double Wear Stay-in-Place

This is a high end foundation that I've been wanting for a while now. I love a high coverage foundation and have read so many good reviews on this.

Fleur De Force by Eyelure

I love Fleur de Force, and watch her YouTube videos regularly, I think these would be some perfect lashes for my holiday where I want a lash that just enhances my natural lashes.

Urban Decay Naked Smoky Palette

I've been wanting a Urban Decay palette for around a year now but can't bring myself to splurge and spend the £38.50 on one, does anyone have the Smoky palette? Is it worth the price tag?

Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette

Again, I've been wanting a Urban Decay palette for so long, the shadows in this palette are all colours that I would wear, and I've read so many good reviews on this palette.

Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer

Obviously, if I'm going to spend nearly £40 on some eyeshadow I want them to stay in place? I'd love the primer to go with the palettes.

Mac Prep and Prime fix

My sister has this and I love it! It keeps your makeup in place all day.

Sony A5000 Camera

Not beauty related and this one is a bit of a cheat as I have actually ordered this to be delivered when I return home from uni but I'm so excited to receive it, and up my game on my blog photos.

Benefit Watts Up

I love the idea of a creamy stick highlighter and love the brand Benefit, so I definitely want to invest in this highlighter.

Mary Lou Manizer Highlighter

Another highlighter...but I've heard brilliant reviews of this highlighter, I haven't tried any of the Balm products just yet.

Morphe 12 Piece Brush Set

I really want to try some Morphe brushes, they look pretty and are affordable.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour Kit

Need I even explain why I would want this cult beauty product? I really want to try a cream contour product so think this would be perfect.

Pandora Sparking Heart Ring

Another non-beauty related product but I really want a chunky ring and love the design of this.

I hope you've enjoyed reading about all the things I would love this month! Feel free to comment below.

New Favourite Brand Alert

I was lucky enough to be sent some PR samples from Seventeen last week, and felt the need to rave about these to all of you lovely lot! I was kindly sent the Long Lash mascara, Let's Face It palette and the Easy on the Eye palette.

The packaging of the products is beautiful, I love collecting the boxes of products as I am a self confessed hoarder! This is not helping my addiction Seventeen. The quality of the products surpasses the packaging however.

Seventeen Long Lash: I really loved using this mascara and would definitely re-purchase! It has a thing brush which means it is really easy to get to each individual lash and it doesn't clump which is always a bonus!

Seventeen Let's Face It: This is described as the 'complexion perfection selection' and I 100% agree. It features a pink and yellow toned concealer, but also a setting powder and a rosy pink blush. The concealers are great for colour correction, and I'm loving the rosy pink blush. It is perfect for the paler skinned peoples of the world.

And finally my favourite of the products, the Easy on the Eye palette: I love this palette! It features 8 matte, shimmer and pearl powders, 3 metallic creams and even an eye primer. The shadows are super pigmented and it has become my go to palette for a lovely pink rose gold eye look. It even comes with a how to guide for smoky eye and to top it all of a voucher for £2 of the Seventeen super lash mascara.

All of these products can be found on the Boots website or if you click their names I have linked you directly to the specific product! Have you tried Seventeen products? Feel free to leave any comments below.
